Continued on with our gastronomical rampage.  Went to a Sunday Brunch buffet at Korean restaurant, Palladium.  Stayed there for almost three hours.  Spoke with our friend about his illness, Moyamoya syndrome.  Tried to keep his outlook positive, which I believe helps immeasurably.  He has already had two brain surgeries & seems to be making positive progress.  He drove us to the airport that night where we found out that there seemed to be a hurricane in our flight path.  Nevertheless, the plane took off & only a teensy bit late.  And, a thrilling roller-coaster ride later, we were home.  Gives new meaning to the term E-ticket.  (For those of you who don't remember, E-ticket rides used to be the good rides at Disneyland -- the ones that cost extra.)
